Participation Terms and Conditions of CSB-College
The CSB-College is the training center of CSB-System SE, Geilenkirchen, and responsible for the training of CSB’s customers and employees in Germany and abroad with regard to the use of the CSB-System. The comprehensive range of courses offered by the CSB-College has been tailored to the requirements and the individual level of knowledge of the customers and employees of CSB. The courses are provided in German or English and held at the headquarter in Geilenkirchen, Germany, or online. The format of the course (inclass/online) is indicated in the training schedule. Participants will be notified in advance of any short-term changes. The services performed by the CSB-College are exclusively based on the following terms and conditions. Any other individual agreements shall be made in written form.
1. Login

For the registration, the registration form at the end of the CSB Training Schedule can be used. Registration is also possible by submitting the web form (www.csb.com/de/kontakt) or by sending an e-mail to college@csb.com. By signing the registration, a legally valid training contract enters into force, and the terms and conditions of the CSB-College are accepted.
For courses offered in the training schedule “as and when required”, a registration for participation is required by the first working day of the month when the course is scheduled. The CSB-College sets a final date for such courses in accordance with the number of participants and the agreed dates. Participants will receive a confirmation of the participation and the date as soon as the dates are agreed.
Requests for extraordinary dates and allocations cannot be considered. Registrations are considered in the order of receipt by the CSB-College. After the registration, the confirmation and the invoice will be sent by e-mail.
2. Prices
The CSB-College charges the following fees per person and training day:
- Level 1 courses: €700
- Level 2 courses: €800
- Level 3 courses: €900
When more than one person from a company participates in the booked course, CSB grants the following
multi-registration discount (per course day, per participant, across levels):
- With 3 or more participants: 10% discount
- With 5 or more participants: 30% discount
3. Course packages
Customers can combine courses in packages as needed. A course package contains at least 5 courses that are defined and scheduled in advance. On booking, the CSB-College grants the customer a discount of 10% on the total price of the courses booked (except the “Basic System Training” course package, which is offered with a fixed scope and at a fixed price of €7,000).
4. Training flat rate
For every “CSB-System Basic Training” module with a defined schedule, the CSB-College charges €7,000 per person.

5. Terms of payment
The seminar fees are due net plus VAT valid at the time of performance. The invoice amounts are payable to CSB-System SE, without deductions, within 14 days of the invoice date. The CSB-College reserves the right to exclude participants from participating in the course if the course fee has not been paid until the start of the course. The above course fees include the following services:
- Training documents
- Use of technical equipment for training purposes
- For in-class courses: refreshments and lunch
A partial participation in the course does not entitle to a reduction of the seminar fee. The CSB-College reserves the right to change the content of courses, course documents, the duration and location of events, and the prices.
6. Cancellation by the customer
The cancellation of a registration must be in written form, where timely receipt of the cancellation by the CSB-College is decisive. A substitute participant can be designated. Course days missed are not refunded. Cancellations of course registrations are without costs if they are submitted in writing, and if they arrive at the CSB-College at least 15 working days (excluding Saturdays/Sundays) before the start of the course. If cancellations (in writing) arrive at the CSB-College less than 15 working days (excluding Saturday/Sunday) before the course starts, or if the customer does not show up, the course fee must be paid in full.
7. Cancellation by the CSB-College
The CSB-College reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a course up to eight (8) calendar days before the course starts, especially in case of events rendering the performance technically or economically unacceptable for the CSB-College. Participants will be immediately informed in written form about the change. Course fees already paid will be refunded. Additional claims vis-à-vis the CSB-College are excluded.
8.Liability and warranty
The CSB-College as the training center of CSB-System SE is not liable except for willful intent or gross negligence.
The CSB-College makes no warranty for the correctness and absence of errors in the preparation and performance of its courses and seminars. Furthermore, the CSB-College makes no warranty as to an expected success of the training or the usefulness of the knowledge acquired.
9. Data processing and data protection
The protection of the personal rights of the course participants is very important to the CSB-College. The CSB-College therefore collects, processes, and uses personal data only in accordance with the provisions of the Federal Data Protection Act (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz, BDSG) and the General Data Protection Regulation of the EU (GDPR) to fulfill the purpose of this contract, in so far as is necessary.
Where the CSB-College commissions an external third party to provide the offered courses, the CSB-College is entitledions an external third party to provide the offered courses, the CSB-College is entitled to making the data of the course participants available to this provider, in accordance with Art. 28 BDSG.
The CSB-College affirms that its employees who are or will be allocated to the courses offered are under obligation to keep data secret in accordance with Art. 5 BDSG, and that all necessary technical and organizational measures in accordance with Art. 9 BDSG have been taken to ensure compliance with data protection.
The CSB-College reserves the right to make video and audio records of its courses. The recorded video material will be made available to the course participants after the course. Furthermore, CSB uses the recorded video material for internal education purposes for its employees. Furthermore, CSB reserves the right to record the attendance of Course Participants for both online trainings and face-to-face trainings and to store it for the legally prescribed period of time (list of participants).
10. Consent to data processing
With the registration, the course participant consents to the processing of data by the CSB-College. In particular, the participant grants the CSB-College the right to use the recorded video materials for the purposes set out in No. 9.
This right of use will apply for the duration of 12 months as from the date of the course performed. After this period, the CSB-College will either delete the video material or contact the course participant regarding an individual extension of such use.
For the use of the recorded video material, the course participant will not receive any separate payment or other compensation.
The course participant is aware that this consent can be revoked at any time. The revocation shall be sent by e-mail to college@csb.com.
11. Copyright and intellectual property rights
The course participant shall keep any log-in data, learning content, or training documents secret from third parties. This information shall be stored in such a way that it cannot be accessed by third parties in order to prevent abuse of the access by third parties. The course participant shall, when becoming aware that the access data has become known to unauthorized third parties, immediately inform the CSB-College.
The reproduction or distribution of the course materials, making video or audio records of the courses and seminars, and taking photos of the course materials requires the written prior approval by the CSB-College.
Course participants are not authorized to provide training materials or parts thereof to third parties without the permission of the CSB-College.
12. Other Information
Any agreements must be made in writing to be effective. If single provisions of these participation terms and conditions become legally ineffective, the other provisions shall remain binding
In addition, the respective applicable Terms and Conditions of CSB-System SE apply. The above Terms of Participation of the CSB-College apply from October 25, 2022.
