When your ERP controls your robot
Kawasaki’s pick-and-place robot controlled by the CSB-System:
- Fully integrated: complete traceability of the crates on the pallets is ensured at any given time.
- Start the line with the press of a button: production orders are started and managed centrally.
- One gripper, four containers: the gripper can handle four different types of containers – open and closed cartons, E2 crates, and foldable crates. On start of the batch, the CSB-System informs the robot how to grab a box or a crate.
- Automatic batch start: the system automatically detects a batch change and unregisters the last pallet from the CSB-System. The pallets of the next batch are automatically transferred in the next sequence.
- OEE: the close-knit integration enables an easy calculation of the overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
